Now, it is safe to say this year has been a complete catastrophe when it comes to the state of the world we are living in. 2020 has been a unique experience for us all and not everyone has the same opinions about what has been happening in the world. We are positive we can all agree that we cant wait until things are back to the way they used to be, when this is? Nobody knows and the question that stands is 'will it ever be the same again?' or will these rules continue to apply to prevent future outbreaks? Nobody truly knows this answer but there are some things that we all know and have in common right now. We have all lost someone we love this year or at least know somebody who has, we have all faced many different hardships and have tried not to give up hope which at points has been difficult and sadly will continue to be difficult for a little while. We feel as long as we keep telling ourselves that there is still a tomorrow, even though we cant see our friends and families or go to the local café you call home, you can still do something and achieve something great no matter how small it may be. This year has been the one and only year society has learnt something together, we have learnt to support each other and stay close but remain far apart and as confusing and somewhat painful as that can be we are doing it together and for each other, in our opinion there is nothing greater than that. Not only that but we finally appreciate what we had and began to recognise just how precious each other, ourselves and the memories we make are.

For us Mystical Moments Photography has been a life saver, we are able to wake up everyday and have something to work towards, and as a creative pair with no children to keep our minds occupied this has been the only thing we have had to nurture and grow (other than our cats haha). Being separated from society and from our cameras, we have been able to connect with new people and scout new businesses to work with in order to support one another and keep everyone's dreams alive. We have watched our friends become confident on social media, beginning new businesses and crafts making us so proud to know and encourage these people. We will be blogging about these amazing businesses in another post so you an truly appreciate their work.

So despite the lockdown, face masks, bulk buying, sadness, boredom and stress if you have
the opportunity to make tomorrow a good day and do something as small as read a book, attempt to bake cookies, or try a new music genre. You have made that day worth living and worth doing. Even if the book you read is dull, the cookies you make are not worth giving to the dog and the music you find is garbage at least you tried and at least you can say you did something. Have a great day everyday from us at Mystical Moments Photography.
This post was written in tribute to one of our mothers. Nicola Peace, a beautiful, kind and bright soul who was taken too early this year. She supported us and our business and the creative outcomes we produced and we will keep creating and building our dream in her honour and to make her proud. Stay safe everyone.
