The internet can be an overwhelming place with a million and one colour themes, floral arrangements, venue settings and of course makeup, dresses and photo ideas. Using Pinterest will help you identify your taste and arrange your day how you imagined it.

To begin with, ignore all the beautiful images and find your perfect wedding checklist once that is done you can being creating your wedding board! Within your board you can add separate sections i.e. Flowers, dress, interior décor, cake and of course everything else on the list you started with. Type into the search bar 'simple wedding' and you will be amazed at the suggested invitations, message boards, confetti and alter arrangements.

At first, scroll through and see what types of images catch your eye, Select the image and scroll through images that are similar to the one you just clicked on making it easier to narrow down what you really like. Add each image you like to your sections, you can either go on a Pinterest spree and save everything you like and scan through them later or carefully select what you see and make a structured plan.

Since the app is mobile and desktop friendly it is so easy to jump on and get inspired.

Now I know sometimes people can feel like their dream wedding isn't possible but that's because you are looking at the entire picture rather than small sections of it.

Break everything down into small sections and tasks and work through them. Pinterest has a big 'Do it yourself' following which in turn is why people have the amazing things they want for their big day. Collecting small jars and wrapping lace around them can make adorable table décor, just pop either a real or artificial flower in the jar and bobs your uncle you have table décor.

A beautiful alter idea can be running fishing wire through artificial flowers and hanging them from the alter like the image here, making what will look like floating flowers giving your photographer a magical background to work with making your images stunning and your day visually interesting.

All these things take time so if you want to make your visions come true you will need to work at it and possibly recruit someone else to help. Be realistic with what you can have, decide a budget and plan from your budget, there's nothing worse than planning a day that there's no way you can afford. Leave yourself plenty of time to get things together, here is where your checklist can help. Create another checklist but this time instead of a tick box you use a time scale box where you can manage how much time each task will realistically take you. lastly remember images are edited! Social media can make life look like a vintage dream! As long as you choose the right photographer to edit your day how to want it your décor will come together beautifully in the final shots.
